Students at Moreton spent time over a couple of days during Enrichment week in March planning a pizza party. This involved the prep of toppings – slicing the various vegetables, giving them an opportunity to put their kitchen skills into practice. Plus, the pizza bases needed to be made! Felix made the dough for 30 pizzas, with help from Elisa, stretching the bases and grating lots of cheese.
Some time was also spent making the actual boxes for the pizzas, customising them, plus a few Easter decorations too.
The next day it was time to cook! Students added their own toppings, and enjoyed the finished pizzas, all made from scratch. A brilliant team effort with cooking skills, hygiene, creativity, and communication all coming together for a very tasty party.
