A call for Animal Care Employers!
One of the most important parts of the journey a student takes through EMA, is the work experience they complete. Internal and external work experience placements give young people the opportunity to put skills they’ve learnt into practice within a professional environment. This allows them to continue advancing their skillset, build confidence, and help in the preparation for adulthood and furthering their careers.
EMA already works in tandem with a number of local employers where students complete placements in a range of industries, from hospitably, retail, and horticultural. The placements our students complete all compliment their studies, and we have a track record of students leaving EMA to even become employees of businesses they previously completed work experience at!
We’re looking to broaden our network of Animal Care employers, and hope to give some of our students new placements in this area. If you’re a business owner in the Animal Care industry in Dorset, we’d love to speak with you and discuss opportunities for our students.
