We’re proud to announce a new partnership with established national employer, and the UK’s leading pub company and brewer Greene King, who will be helping EMA to offer incredible opportunities to young people looking to kick start their career.
EMA supported internships provide 16-24 year olds with SEND (special educational needs and disabilities) the opportunity to develop employment and life skills as they enter the hospitality industry. We are collaborating with Greene King locations in Dorset and the surrounding counties, all working together to help equip you with the skills and knowledge for the work YOU want.
Robert Cooke, Social Mobility Manager at Greene King said of the partnership: “We’re proud to be working with EMA and are looking forward to welcoming more Supported Interns to the Greene King family as they embark on developing skills for a career in hospitality.”
Supported Internships are a practical way to develop skills at our college and off-site in real world settings, tailored for those who need extra support to start a job. All Supported Internships come with a dedicated job coach who will be helping you on your journey as you build your skills and independence. Spaces are very limited, and we’re taking applications now. We look forward to hearing from you and helping you find your future.
James Dunham, EMA’s head of Education said “We could not be more excited for this new partnership with such a prominent national employer. To have access to their incredible experience across hospitality, and the support in finding placements for our students as they take the next steps in their future is going to be such a huge compliment to the vision we have at EMA, and we really cannot wait to start working with the locations, their managers, and of course, the candidates. This partnership could not have materialised without the assistance of Landmark’s Specialist College, and we extend our thanks to them for working with us in bringing this new opportunity to our students.”
More details on the Supported Internship will be shared soon, but for now you can get in touch to register your in interest in applying.
