From work experience, to employment…

We are proud to share that EMA student Eleanor, who will be graduating this week, is moving from work experience to paid employment.

We recently spotlighted in our newsletter that Eleanor began work experience at the Allendale Centre Café in Wimborne, and she quickly settled in as part of their team. Eleanor showed her great work ethic, and was proactive with tasks given to her, also showing that she was able to work independently. As a result of her hard work and progress, she has been offered one day a week paid work at the Allendale, to begin when she leaves education working for the front of house team.

And the good news doesn’t stop there. Work Fit have also secured Eleanor paid work at Pets at Home in Poole, which she will begin over the summer!

Eleanor has overcome many barriers to get to where she is now, taking the skills she’s developed with us at EMA out into the real word. We’ve seen her confidence grow during her time with us, and it’s her own hard work which has primarily allowed her to achieve these amazing outcomes for her future.

Good luck with your new jobs Eleanor! 👏
