Matrix Accreditation
In May 2025, EMA successfully passed the Matrix Standard re-accreditation by The Growth Company (https://www.growthco.uk/), who deliver external accreditation on behalf of the Department for Education (DfE).
The Matrix Standard (https://matrixstandard.com/) is the DfE’s standard for ensuring the quality of the delivery of high-quality information, advice and guidance, and is supported by the DfE as the quality framework for accrediting these areas within an education setting.
The assessment process consisted of a two-day visit from an assessor to our Moreton Campus, during her time with us she reviewed our Careers Education Information, Advice & Guidance (CEIAG) strategy, programme and policy, as well as conducting numerous interviews with our students, parents, staff and external partners, all with the focus of assessing how well CEIAG is embedded across everything we do.
Commenting on the recent accreditation, EMA’s Head of Education, James Dunham said
